🔧 Lux Calibration — Teflon Tape Method

Calibrate the BH1750 sensor to extend its measurement range using teflon tape as a physical attenuator.

Ready. Follow the steps below.
① Bare Sensor Measurement
The lamp will turn on at 50% PWM (reference level). The system will wait for the lux reading to stabilize.
Make sure: No teflon tape is on the sensor. The sensor should be bare/uncovered.
② Taped Sensor Measurement
📎 Apply teflon tape layers on the BH1750 sensor now. Press the button below when ready.
The lamp will turn on at the same 50% PWM. The system will measure the attenuated reading and compute the correction factor.
③ Full Power Verification
The lamp will ramp to 100% PWM with the tape still on the sensor. The system will apply the correction factor and determine the true maximum lux output.
